I am done crying over the crash, but I have a lot of work to do to make this blog what it was. Maybe in the process I can make it even better. I have several posts that I will have to re-write for one reason or another, but some can be omitted. I am changing the categories somewhat, or at least the way I will be using them, and have added a video tutorial category, which I hope to start posting to soon.
I do apologize for this mishap as I know that several people had found genuine help in some of the posts, which was my intention from the outset. I sincerely hope that I can not only recover from this, but become a better blogger for it. Please bear with me as I rebuild. I will spend the next few days typing away and maybe get the first tutorial under my belt.

P.S. Since I am rebuilding this blog from memory and making a few conscious changes along the way, not only will the text be changing for any reposted topics, but the permalinks may have changed as well. If you bookmarked any of the posts that now live in code heaven your bookmarks are probably broken, even if I have reposted the info.

Sorry about the problems – computers can be very frustrating (and time consuming).
The worst part is that I later found out that I had updated the wrong thing and didn’t need to update the database at all, I only had to update to a later version of PHP. Just goes to show that I am a photographer, not a programer. In the end I think the blog will be better for it, but for now it means a lot of work.
